Proposes guidelines for the implementation of quality systems and quality improvement programs in hospitality and tourism industries such as hotels, motels, clubs, restaurants and caterers. Guidelines are based on the requirements of AS 3901/NZS 9001/ISO 9001 and are suitable for use in implementation programs where objectives include independent certification of the quality system. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
