Proposes revision of essential requirements and minimum safety Standards for mains operated electronics equipment. Technical changes from 1990 edition include major additions to the Clauses outlining heating under normal operating conditions and radiation, and deletion of criteria for heating at elevated ambient temperatures. References to lasers is now also included. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
