Proposes the dimensions and marking requirements for hexagon socket cap screws with ISO metric coarse pitch series threads in diameters from 1.6 mm to 42 mm inclusive, and the material requirements for steel hexagon socket head cap screws of property class 12.9. Requirements for products requiring special properties, such as weldability, corrosion-resistance or the ability to withstand temperatures above +300 degrees Celsius and below -50 degrees Celsius are not given. An appendix gives the complete designation for the purpose of an inquiry or order. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
