Proposes requirements for fusion-bonded medium-density polyethylene coating and lining of pipes and fittings. Coatings are intended to provide protection against corrosion in underground or undersea installations. Linings are intended for use in pipes and fittings in wastewater and potable water pipelines. This proposed Standard is limited to coatings for pipeline operating temperatures in the range -40 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius and linings in the range -40 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
