Proposes minimum requirements (in limit states format) for the design of structural members cold-formed to shape from carbon or low-alloy steel sheet, strip, plate or bar not more than 25 mm in thickness and used for load-carrying purposes in buildings compared to 3 mm thickness in the current edition. It does not apply to cold-formed members complying with AS 1163. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
