Proposes the adoption of ISO 5667-5:1991 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. This proposed Standard provides detailed guidance on the design of sampling programs, sampling techniques and the handling and preservation of samples of drinking water and water used for food and beverage processing for the purposes of process control, quality characterization, identification of sources of pollution, compliance with water quality guidelines or standards, and other specific reasons. Copies of ISO 5667-5:1991 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
