Proposes particular requirements for the safety of blankets, pads and mattresses, intended for heating in medical use. These are far more technically complex than the usual domestic product. Familiarity with, or a copy of, AS/NZS 3200.1.0 is essential to follow the requirements of this draft. It is identical with and reproduced from IEC 60601-2-35:1996. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
