This Global System for Mobile communications Technical Specification (GTS) explains stage 1 of High Speed Circuit Switched Data (HSCSD). HSCSD is a feature that lets users who subscribe to the General bearer services to access user rates that can be achieved with one or more TCH/F, HSCSD also explains a fLexible use of air interface resources which makes an efficient and flexible use of higher user rates feasible.
