GENERIC REQUIREMENTS FOR ISDN CALLING NAME IDENTIFICATION SERVICES FOR PRIMARY RATE INTERFACE
01-12-2013
ISDN Calling Name Delivery (I-CNAM) interacts with call control to send name information from a Stored Program Control System (SPCS) to ISDN Class II Equipment (CTE) using common element procedures. The Presentation of Calling Name feature (PCN) allows the calling CTE to explicitly set the presentation status of the calling name as "private" or "public" on a per-call basis. Rev 1 - View of proposed generic requirements for the ISDN, CNAM, PRI. The ISDN Calling Name Identification Services for PRI extends the CLASS(SM) Feature: CNAM detailed in TR NWT 001188, CLASS Calling Name Delivery Generic Requirements to an ISDN PRI. Rev 2 - also includes generic requirements for a Calling Name Identification Service in an ICAN.
