Defines a method for determining the sodium, vanadium, nickel, copper and iron content of vacuum gas oils, waxy distillates and crude oils in the concentration range 0,1 mg/kg to 10 mg/kg by means of atomic absorption spectrophotometry and inductively coupled plasma emission spectrophotometry.
