A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Specifies the essential dimensional characteristics necessary for the interchangeability of filter elements. Two element types, C and D, are specified, which differ in their design and which require different installation conditions (see annexes A and B). Types C and D are not interchangeable.
