La présente partie de l'EN 12516 spécifie la méthode de calcul relative aux enveloppes d'appareils de robinetterie en matériaux métalliques autres que l'acier. Les cas de charge à prendre en compte doivent être conformes à l'EN 12516-2. Les méthodes de conception doivent être conformes à l'EN 12516-2, pour la conception par formules selon les paragraphes appropriés.
