Pour assurer la gestion de SERB de fabricants différents depuis l'OMC à travers le CSB d'une manière normalisée, la présente norme d'interfonctionnement au CSB a trait à l'interface OMC-CSB (Q3) comme la spécifie GSM 12.20 et l'interface CSB-SERB (A-bis Qx) comme la spécifie GSM 12.21. Dans GSM 12.01, il est exigé que le CSB exécute la fonction de médiation entre l'OMC et la SERB. La présente ETS définit les conditions requises pour cette fonction de médiation.
