La présente norme décrit une méthode de mise en solution partielle du phosphore d'un échantillon de sol, à l'aide d'une solution d'oxalate d'ammonium. Cette méthode est connue sous le nom de ses auteurs (méthode Joret-Hébert). Elle s'applique à tous les types de sols, moyennant pour certains d'entre eux, des précautions analytiques qui seront décrites plus loin.
