Defines requirements and test procedures for construction, safety and marking of domestic direct gas-fired tumble dryers, types B22D and B23D having nominal heat input up to and including 6 kW. Not applicable to catalytical combustion appliances, those intended for industrial use, those for use where special conditions exist, eg. corrosive or explosive atmosphere, condensing types where heated air and combustion products used in the drying method are dehumidified by air or water cooling or appliances for use in vehicles or on aircraft or ships.
