Concerned with MAFs of the TMN Management functional area dealing with configuration management (CM). Information descriptions include those from international and national standards, industry forms and Bellcore documents. The specifications may in some cases take the form of object classes specified in accordance with the Guidelines for the Description of Managed Objects (GDMO). Otherwise they may be take the form of entity types specified in accordance with Bellcore methodology for logical data models. The entity types are taken from the Bellcore Strategic Data Model and from the logical data model in association with certain Bellcore data products.
