Introduces the set of documents that comprises SR-NWT-002268, Cycle 1 Initial Specifications for Information Networking Architecture (INA). There are 11 documents in this set. Ten documents cover the technical results of the work effort, and one is a "road map" that walks the reader through short summaries of each SR and provides a suggested order for reading those documents. This SR provides an introduction to INA and describes the goal of the collaborative effort to develop INA, the approach, and how the technical concepts treated in this set of SRs may be used to reach the goal. This SR should be read by all those who are planning to read the technical documents included in SR-NWT-002268, Issue 1. In addition, this SR should be read by anyone who wants to understand the rationale behind the INA.
