SR OPT 002344 : ISSUE 1

This Network Operations Plan (NOP) for Integrated Digital Loop Carrier (IDLC) provides a snapshot of the IDLC operations support needs to suppliers of operations functionality in IDLC network elements (NEs), operations systems (OSs), supervisory systems (SSs) & element management layer (EML) software that run on those platforms. This plan will be updated for inclusion of the TR-303 features support as it becomes available from software system suppliers and TR-303 equipment vendors. This document is based on TM-OPT-020078, TR-030 Integrated Digital Loop Carrier - Integrated Operations Plan by Jila Gaffari & Russ Jucovics. The NOP analyzes the effects IDLC technology will have on major operations processes.
