Purpose of this agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: a) The proposed document will enhance interoperability by allowing different NATO nations to entrust sterilization of their equipments or materials to allied nations sterilization services during multinational missions, and b) it aims to harmonize sterilization processes, performance characteristics of sterilizers and verification methods to ensure a reproducible sterilization acceptable by all allied nations.
