09-01-1994
01-12-2013
Bellcore's view of generic requirements for the operations generic interface when the communications architecture is based on the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model. It contains generic requirements for operations interfaces that support either or both transaction (interactive) and file oriented applications. The requirements for all layers of the OSI model, excluding the operations specific application protocol (messages), are listed here. The requirements form a subset of the features specified in the CCITT Recommendations and OSI Standards for data communication protocols at different layers of the OSI model
