Provides Bellcore's view of proposed generic criteria for operations communications between managing systems and managed systems to support Exchange Access Switched Multi Megabit Data Service (XA SMDS) and SMDS serving arrangements between a BCC and a Neighboring Local Exchange Carrier (NLEC) located within the same LATA (as defined in Switched Multi Megabit Data Service Generic Requirements for Exchange Access and Intercompany Serving Arrangements (TR TSV 001060). For the sake of brevity, the document jointly refers to the above as SMDS. The information model given is intended to support features of intercarrier SMDS only, and builds on the SMDS information model found in SMDS Generic Criteria on Operations Interfaces - SMDS Information Model and Usage (TR TSV 001064).
