Diese Regel schränkt die Verwendung von Azofarbstoffen ein, die in folgende krebserzeugende aromatische Amine gespalten werden können: Anlage 1 enthält eine Übersicht über Alternativbezeichnungen der genannten Amine mit den Einstufungen als krebserzeugend gemäss TRGS 905 bzw. Anhang I der Richtlinie 67/548/EWG. Eine Auflistung der betroffenen Azofarbstoffe kann beim VCI, Fachausschuss Farbstoffe und organische Pigmente, Postfach 111943, 60054 Frankfurt, angefordert werden und ist im Internet zugänglich (www.vci.de unter "Chemikalienmanagement" Rubrik "Chemikaliensicherheit").
