Defines requirements for materials used in vulcanized rubber seals for cold potable water supply (up to 50 degree C), hot potable and non-potable water supply (to 110 degree C) and drainage, sewerage and rainwater systems (continuous flow to 45 degree C and intermittent flow up to 95 degree C). Applies to seals for all materials including iron, steel, clay, fibre cement, concrete, reinforced concrete, plastics and glass-reinforced plastic.
