Die Norm gilt für neu zu entwickelnde und neu zu beschaffende Systeme für die Bundeswehr. Sie gibt Hinweise zur Festlegung von Grenzwerten von Kopplungswiderständen, Kopplungsdämpfungsmassen und Schirmdämpfungsmassen an den Einrichtungen eines Systems einschliesslich der Verbindungsleitungen und Verbindungskabel. Grenzwerte sind in dieser Norm nicht festgelegt.
