This Standard specifies the requirements for remote and self-contained refrigerated display cabinets that fall within the Scope of AS 1731.1. The objective of this Standard is to provide detailed information on: the performance requirements for a refrigerated display cabinet to meet minimum energy performance standard requirements; the performance requirements for a refrigerated display cabinet to be designated as ‘high efficiency’; and the reporting format for refrigerated display cabinet applications for registration or notification.
