This Standard specifies requirements for water-drive lifts that are installed in a private residence, as defined in AS 1735.1.This Standard is complimentary to AS 1735.1, but requirements of this Standard take precedence over corresponding requirements of that Standard.Care and responsibility of lifts shall be as specified in Appendix A.NOTES:1 Water additives may be used.2 Guide for selection of lift types is given in Appendix B.
