A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Sets out the requirements for manufacture, size labelling and care labelling for laundering and dry-cleaning of all types of outerwear garments for school wear. It specifies minimum stitch density for seams, hems, button holes and button sewing, for reinforcing of points such as the corners or ends of pockets, belt loops, button holes and the shoulders of cardigans and sweaters. It also sets a minimum depth for hems on dresses, skirts and trousers and slacks.
