This Standard specifies requirements for the safe use of concrete placing equipment. The design, construction, testing and associated specific requirements of concrete placing equipment are given in AS 1418.15 and the general requirements are specified in AS 1418.1. This Standard is complementary to AS 2550.1, but the requirements herein shall take precedence over the corresponding requirements of AS 2550.1.
