Specifies requirements for occupational health and safety in relation to the application of powder coatings by electrostatic spraying. Requirements are included for plant and equipment as well as safe operating procedures. A checklist of precautions is included in an appendix.

This Standard sets out requirements for equipment and associated procedures for the safe application of powder coatings by electrostatic spraying.Guidance for safe systems of work for such operations is also given. However, such guidance should only be applied where full consideration has been given to all safe systems of work within the particular situation.
