Appendices cover sampling and methods of test, including separate tests for weight per unit area for finished product and for desaturated base felt.

This specification covers coated fibre felt roofing in 36 in. widths composed essentially of an impregnated, single layer, organic, fibre felt which is coated on both sides with an asphaltic bitumen which may be mineral filled.
