Specifies construction, dimensions and physical property requirements for seven classes of hydraulic hose having a burst pressure of up to 20 000 lbf/in. and for operating temperatures from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to +200 degrees F. Tests cover burst and proof pressure, change in length and leakage under pressure, impulse test, cold flexibility, resistance to oil and ozone, and bend radius. Appendices show SI equivalent values for variation in wall thickness and for dimensions and physical properties.
