Provides a limited subset to the specifications for data transfer contained in AS/NZS 4270, Parts 1 and 3. The topological vector profile supports only geographic vector data with geometry and topology. Includes an appendix which provides variations for Australia and New Zealand. This Standard is technically equivalent to and has been reproduced from FIPS PUB 173-1B-1994.

Part 4, the Topological Vector Profile (TVP), contains specifications for an SDTS profile for use with geographic vector data with planar graph topology.
