An appendix gives an example of a typical marking for the garage door or for the garage door packaging.

This Standard specifies requirements for the design, construction, performance and installation of garage doors in domestic applications, and specifies the resultant loads imposed on structures onto which such garage doors are mounted.NOTES:1 A typical application would be for a private garage as defined by the Building Code of Australia or to housing as defined in the New Zealand Building Code.2 Alternative methods for determining compliance with this Standard are given in Appendix A.This Standard does not include drives for garage doors.
