Specifies common requirements, supplementary to the general requirements of AS/NZS 60269.1, applicable to standardized fuse systems for use by authorized persons. This Standard is identical in technical content to IEC 60269-2:1986, incorporating Amendment 1:1995 and Corrigendum:1996.

These supplementary requirements apply to fuses for use by authorized persons.Fuses for use by authorized persons are generally designed to be used in installations where the fuse-links are accessible to, and may be replaced by, authorized persons only.
