This test method applies to the determination of sulfate sulfur and pyritic sulfur in coal and calculates organic sulfur by difference.

1.1This test method applies to the determination of sulfate sulfur and pyritic sulfur in coal and calculates organic sulfur by difference. This test method is not applicable to coke or other carbonaceous materials.
