Dimensions of 2, 3 and 4 drawer A4 and foolscap cabinets and suspended filing pockets. Includes requirements and tests for drawers and drawer fittings, for the rigidity of carcases and for safety.

This British Standard specifies dimensions and other requirements (excluding finish) for two kinds of filing cabinet, one intended primarily for the storage of A4 documents1) and the other designed to hold foolscap papers. Either kind may have 2, 3 or 4 drawers. Dimensions of suspended filing pockets for use in filing cabinets are also included.
