Describes a method for the determination of the particle size distribution of fine calcined petroleum coke powders by a laser diffraction procedure.

This Section of BS 6043 describes a method for the determination of the particle size distribution of fine calcined petroleum coke powders by a laser diffraction procedure. The method is applicable to particle size analysers capable of measuring particle size distributions in the approximate range 1 µm to 500 µm.
