Defines a test procedure for determining crack formation temperature of enamels used in the chemical industry, by exposing enamelled steel samples to thermal shock, using cold water. Crack formation temperature value measured in accordance with the test procedure is not valid for the finished part. It is a parameter of porcelain and vitreous enamels for comparison of the quality of different enamel formulations.
