This standard is included in DIN Handbook 401. Provides specification for pressure-containing components of heavy-duty valves manufactured from steel castings. Such requirements are intended to supplement those given in DIN 1690 Parts 1 and 2. The onus is on the purchaser to decide whether the valves must be designed for heavy-duty service.
