This standard is included in DIN Handbook 75 and 91. Applies to the graphical representation of the results of subsoil and water boring. Also applies to the representation of the results of exploration by trial pits or other (natural or artificial) methods of investigation. It is not always possible to represent all significant information from the investigations in graphical form. For this reason, conclusions shall always be based on the use of strateigraphic representations as specified in DIN 4022 Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. The system of representation described here can be used as appropriate also for section diagrams and maps.
