This standard gives specifications for hexagon nuts with flange, with metric coarse or fine thread with diameters from 5 to 20 mm, assigned to produce Grade A. If, in special cases, nuts are to comply with specifications other than those given in this standard, e.g. regarding property classes, these shall be selected in accordance with the appropriate standards.
