Diese Norm ist für die Ermittlung der Ausgleichswerte an Blechen und Bändern aus Leichtmetall beim Fertigungsverfahren "Biegeumformen" anzuwenden. Für welche der in DIN 8586 "Fertigungsverfahren Biegeumformen; Einordnung - Unterteilung - Begriffe" aufgeführten Untergruppen die vorliegende Norm gesicherte Ergebnisse liefert, ist sorgfältig zu prüfen und auf die innerbetriebliche Praxis abzustimmen. Im Regelfall gelten die Werte für das Gesenkbiegen (Abkanten).
