This standard is included in DIN Handbook 455, 455-2 and 456/1. Defines the compositions of copper-based master alloys for the manufacture, deoxidation or desulfurization of cast or wrought alloys, particularly those based on copper ingots, notched bar, notched slab, granules or broken pieces. Contains method for sampling the master alloys for analysing for verifying the conformity to the composition requirements.
