Proposes the revision of AS 1025.1-1984 by the adoption of IEC 60265-1:1998 and Corrigendum 1:2000 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. Applies to three-phase, alternating current switches and switch-disconnectors having making and breaking current ratings, for indoor and outdoor installations, for rated voltages above 1 kV and less than 52 kV and for rated frequencies from 16-2/3 Hz up to and including 60 Hz.
