Proposes minimum performance requirements and test methods for on-load tap-changers of both resistor and reactor types; off-circuit tap-changers, and their motor drive mechanisms. It applies to power and distribution transformers of all types and also to reactors. It does not apply to transformers and reactors mounted on railway rolling stock.This Standard is technically identical to IEC 60214:2003, Tap-changers Part 1: Performance requirements and test methods.
