Proposes the requirements for macro-composite pipes and associated fittings for the conveyance of fluids including water, compressed air and gaseous fuels in sizes ranging from 14 to 25 mm outside diameter. The composites covered by this Standard consist of a welded aluminium tube encapsulated in and bonded to an inner and outer layer of polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene.
