Proposes requirements for the construction and installation of fire-resistant doorsets used to protect openings in walls and partitions and which are required to resist the passage of fire. Changes proposed in this revision include slight modifications to the requirements for certification and tagging of installed doorsets and updating of the sections dealing with the design requirements, variations from the tested prototype and installation of the door frame and door leaves.
