Deals with materials and construction of the helmet shell and harness, mechanical strength of shell and helmet finish and includes methods of test. Requirements for helmets intended for use in extremely high temperature environments, underground mining and bushfire fighting are also included. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
