Proposes the adoption of IEC 890:1987, including the Corrigendum:1987 and Amendment 1:1995 as an Australian Standard. It provides a method to determine the temperature rise inside a low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assembly by extrapolation from data found by tests on other assemblies. Copies of IEC 890:1987, the Corrigendum:1987 and Amendment 1:1995 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
