This standard applies to alumina and establishes a photometric method for determining phosphorus (V) oxide with a mass fraction of 0.0004% to 0.01% and a spectrophotometric method for determining phosphorus content using reduced phosphomolybdate with phosphorus content in alumina in terms of P2O5 greater than 0 , 0005%
